When I need leaf spring work I come here. It's the first and only place I think of. Great work from great people and at a great price. I own TS Classics and Automotive in San Ramon and I proudly represent and warranty all work from these guys. Growing up its all I would hear from my dad and his friends that grew up in the bay area as well. "A-1, A-1,A-1!!" As I got into the culture myself it's all I'd hear from the different car culture I've had interest in. My first encounter was in 1999 when I was 18 for my 74 k5 Cheyenne blazer and they treated me like I was a friend they knew for decades the first time I met them and they have since. I can't speak highly enough about A-1.

  Excellent service. A1 was recommended by my mechanic. I took my truck/camper in to have the springs adjusted and to get new shocks. Ruben added a new leaf to existing leaf springs and fine tuned to compensate for the one side of camper that is heaver. Has never handled better. Wish I had know about A1 springs sooner, I would have money in the long run.

  Very professional and quick. Probably the best car maintenance experience I have ever had. I will come back for any work I need and I would recommend them without hesitation.

  I drove from Las Vegas Nevada to Oakland for their services because they're the best of the best they're considered more than professionals they're experts and today February 15, 2022 they did a big job on my F250 Truck and I was blown away when they finished I recommend anybody that needs work on there cars to come to this place regardless the distance you will not be disappointment and you can take that to the bank I guarantee it

  Great service clean job thank you would definitely recommend them for suspension work and that great A1 look.  Had air bags removed and shocks and springs replaced.

  The crew at A1 springs fine tuned the drop on my truck that another business originally did for me. The truck drives and looks 100% better. These guys have been around for over 50 years, true masters of the trade.

Ruben is the best in the Bay area hands down I don't consider him just a entrepreneur but I've considered my friend he's always considerate and he always helps the best that he can and his prices are very affordable trust me when I say this Ruben is the best I'll refer Reuben at a-1 anytime and to anyone....
